What can I paint over? Existing paints, natural or not!,  Wallpaper, plaster, new plaster, bare plaster, concrete, brickwork, clay, gypsum plaster boards etc.

Coverage & Priming: Generally no primer is required, just two coats of the Auro 555 are needed for most normal walls. Excellent covering power, with little dripping or splashing. Generally covers at 9 sqm/litre.

How to apply

If you are painting new plaster, or perhaps lining paper or irregularly absorptive substrates and surfaces we suggest you prime first . However, you can also use this paint diluted with 10% water as the mist coat. We would always allow for 2 coats for most most colours, with perhaps 3 coats for the much deeper colours, and do try to leave around 6 hours between coats. For best results we would suggest to first paint the masked edges and corners, followed straight away with rolling the rest of the area. Apply the paint pretty liberally and try and work to a wet edge!

RETURNS:
Please try a tester pot first to make sure the colour is right for you, as we can’t accept returns for coloured paint, as we mix it to order just for you! All products (paints / finishes / oils / waxes etc) are held in white and clear only, everything else is hand coloured specifically to your order (when you select from a colour range) by our wonderful mixing team, so unfortunately coloured paint cannot be returned. Please please please try a tester pot first beforehand!

INGREDIENTS: Auro 555 is made from naturally occurring raw materials: Mineral fillers, pigments, water, Replebin (Auro’s special natural binder) , cellulose, surfactants made of rapeseed and castor oils, ammonia, benzisothiazolinone (EU Legally required at trace level as a pigment preservative), sodium pyrithione. The biogenic nature of the binding agent *Replebin® is regularly examined and confirmed by the SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS.
