Earthborn Clay Paint – Breathable Ultra Matt

Earthborn Claypaint is virtually free of VOCs, harmful emissions, as well as odour free and super breathable. Suitable for normal plaster and lime plaster. Great for traditional buildings as well as modern homes, and can be used as a nursery paint as well as in children’s bedrooms. We don’t advise using this paint in the bathroom where you don’t need such a breathable paint – you might want something a little more wipeable, such as the Auro 555 natural emulsion paint, or Earthborn Lifestyle Emulsion. Earthborn mention that their clay paint reduces dust and allergen build ups, which makes is an obvious choice of allergy and asthma sufferers.

Earthborn Claypaint is easy to apply, thick and creamy, and you can sleep in the room same day as painting.

• White: If you are looking for the old ‘Clay Paint White’, this is now the ‘Claypaint White Clay’.

Ingredients:

• Water
• Natural Clays and Chalk
• Kaolin
• Vinegar ester
• Methylcellulose
• Titanium dioxide (in white and some colours)
• Pigments (in some colours)
• 0.1% Synthetic preservative (EU standard)

Certification:

• Safe to use on children’s furniture and toys (Safety of Toys Standard EN71-3:1995). Certificate here.
• Certified Class 0 Fire Safety Rating (BS476 part 6 & 7). Class 0 is the highest rating currently.
