Paint Brushes – We stock Lick Pro Tools (formerly Eco Union products) which are well made from sustainable components and sustainably grown bamboo. They handle paint really well, and available many sizes, both flat brushes as well as angled brushes for difficult areas such as sash windows.
Paint Brush Sets are a great value choice, especially the 5 pack of excellent Lick brushes, as the pack contains everything you would need.
Paint trays & paint kettles – They look odd, but trust me they are much better than the black plastic standard ones you’ve used in the past. Trade and DIY waste is a problem, and plastic paint trays get used once or twice then skipped, and never degrade. We sell sugarcane pulp trays, which can be used many times believe it or not. They look ‘throwaway’, but all you need to do is wipe and let dry, then use them again another day. Then when you do come to through them out, they can be composted quite easily.
Paint rollers and paint roller frames: We have Licktools paint rollers, use the 9″ paint roller for all normal emulsion on walls, and the smaller 4″ can be used for tricky areas or wood trim and the like. We have replacement (made from recycled products) foam rollers, both 9″ mid pile roller sleeves, and 4″ mid pile roller sleeves.
Skimming grids: These are a welcome addition when painting with traditional lime paints that may contain lumps of naturally occurring lime and mineral, the skimming grid helps mitigate the lumps making it to your wall.
